On May 28, 2021, FACL BC (in collaboration with TRU and UVic OUTLaws) will be hosting a panel of LGBTQIA+ lawyers in the Asian community to discuss practicing law while holding the intersectional identity of being Asian and LGBTQIA+. At this inaugural event, we hope to create a space for members of the Asian LGBTQIA+ community to share their experiences and make connections. Our panel will also explore ways that those who are not 2SLGBTQIA+ can take action in support of and in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in the legal profession.
