Law firm technology has not been forced to evolve over the last couple of decades, due to many factors including:

  • lack of innovation in the prevalent legal software applications;
  • the adoption of cloud computing was slower for law firms (as compared to other industries); and
  • law office personnel primarily worked in close physical proximity to each other, so the need for paperless technology was not as great.

Working from home in a distributed fashion has changed all this, and during the pandemic many law firms have had no choice but to rapidly modernize their systems in a short period of time.

Join Brian Mauch, CEO of BMC Networks Technology Services, to find out how law firms are leveraging modern technologies to increase efficiency and communication now and after the pandemic ends!

Brian Mauch is the founder and CEO of BMC Networks, a Vancouver-based outsourced IT provider that specializes in law firms.  Brian obtained both law and commerce degrees from UBC, and then combined his education with his passion for technology to form BMC Networks in 1997. Brian focuses on strategic planning and advice for BMC’s clients.
