Join us at the Chinese Canadian Museum, located in the historic Wing Sang Building, for a poignant and insightful tour and social acknowledging the 100-year anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act. This is an opportunity to reflect on the past, recognize the impact of historical injustices, and celebrate the resilience of the Chinese Canadian and other immigrant communities.

The event will include a tour of the Museum’s exhibition, "The Paper Trail to the 1923 Chinese Exclusion Act" and a social on the beautiful rooftop of the Wing Sang Building. We are also thrilled to announce that the Honourable Justice Randall Wong will be attending to share some insights on the Museum's significance and the lasting impact of the Chinese Exclusion Act.

Join us at the Chinese Canadian Museum to commemorate a century of resilience and reflection. Don't miss this historic event!

FACL BC will be fully covering the expenses for this event due to its historical significance, but we encourage attendees to make a suggested donation ($20 for lawyers; $10 for students), with 100% of the proceeds going to the Chinese Canadian Museum. To secure your ticket for the event, please send your donation by e-transfer to faclbc1@gmail.com.

However, we recognize financial circumstances differ for everyone and do not want it to be a barrier to attending this event of historical significance. If you wish to make a donation in an alternative amount or would like to opt out of making a donation, please email info@faclbc.ca in confidence before registering.
